Sewing too!
Maragita, the Director of the project called to let us know that next Monday begins the work afresh for 2012. They will be adding English classes for children and their parents as well as literacy for parents and children 7-13. These sessions will meet a real need felt by the marginalized people we are serving.
In addtion a new sewing class will start to train the ladies from the area around the project. There are textile factories in San Louis and if the ladies can learn some basic skills they stand a greater chance of being hired. In addition and electrical class is also starting to give marketable skills.
The 70 plus people who worship together are being challenged to look inside themselves and see what skills they have that can be shared.
Please pray for Eladio and Margarita as they carry the burden to help and serve. Could you make a gift to help get them the materials they need?
