We Stand For This

Since 1966, Star of Hope has followed Christ’s command to aid the needy, focusing on education, health, and breaking the cycle of poverty. We partner with local organizations, sharing Jesus’ message, operating in the U.S., Sweden, Norway, and Finland, helping children in 13 countries. Our mission is to empower global children through education and partnerships.

At Star of Hope International, America, Inc., our foundation in matters of faith is grounded in the following beliefs:

Bible Based

  • The Divine Inspiration of the Bible: We affirm the inerrancy of the Bible in its original writings, considering it the supreme and final authority in matters of faith and practice.
  • The Triune God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Creation, Fall, and Redemption: We acknowledge the creation of man in the divine image, man’s subsequent fall through sin, leading to universal guilt and total depravity. This underscores the necessity of redemption and restoration.

Exaltation

  • Deity of Jesus Christ: We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, emphasizing His virgin birth, perfect life, redeeming death, bodily resurrection, heavenly intercession, and His promised return.
  • Personality of the Holy Spirit: We recognize the Holy Spirit’s personality, whose regenerative work enables sinful man to be born again, and whose indwelling empowers regenerate man to live a godly life.
  • Resurrection and Eternity: We affirm the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, along with the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
  • Spiritual Unity and Gospel Commission: We uphold the spiritual unity of all believers as the true Church, tasked with the duty to preach the Gospel to every creature.
