As a sponsor, you contribute monthly support to a designated area of Star of Hope’s initiatives, ensuring the flourishing of preschools, schools, and resource centers. Some sponsors choose to support individual children, while others allocate their monthly donations to areas where they are needed most in a specific country.
Regardless of your sponsorship choice, you will receive regular updates through ‘My Pages’ and a monthly digital newsletter that provides comprehensive reports from various parts of our operations, as long as we have your email on record.

School Essentials and Teacher Salaries: Your gifts contribute to the provision of essential supplies for schools and the salaries of dedicated educators, fostering an environment conducive to learning.

When you sign up as a sponsor, based on your chosen sponsorship type, we’ll send information and project images via mail. Personal sponsors also receive a card with details about their sponsored child, including background and life situation. Choose the payment method that suits you best. If you sponsor a child, you’ll get a login for our “Nova” program to see the latest updates.

Yes! Sponsorship works based on our experience. Sponsored children complete primary school, and many pursue higher education. Your sponsorship goes beyond material assistance, boosting self-esteem and motivating children to transform their lives.
Star of Hope primarily focuses on providing children with a good start in life through initiatives such as education, food, and healthcare, as we believe these are essential foundations for all-round development.
Being a sponsor is a long-term commitment, but it’s voluntary. You can end it anytime by contacting Star of Hope.
Instead of sending a package, you can provide your sponsored child/project with an additional gift. Our staff in the project countries will then purchase a gift for the child/project, usually something they need. The extra gift can also be used to organize a celebration or outing for all children who have, for example, had a birthday in the past month or quarter. In other cases, the funds are used for something the entire class or preschool group needs.
Regarding sponsored children’s birthdays, an additional birthday letter is sent with the monthly letter three months before your sponsored child’s birthday, allowing you to give a birthday gift.
